It is my honor and privilege to welcome each of you to Rappahannock High School for the 2017-2018 School Year. Rappahannock High School is the serving high school for all of Richmond County, located in the beautiful and historic Northern Neck of Virginia. RHS closed out the 2016-2017 school year full of academic, civic, performing arts, and athletic success.
We started our #BeARaider campaign and our students, faculty, and community supported this endeavor as all of us came together to show what it means to #BeARaider.
Our students and teachers excelled in the classroom with a strong showing on the SOLs and AP Tests. Our band students attended an out of state performance and were graded Superior. Finally, our Girls Tennis team finished second in the state and our soccer team made the state final four.
Whether you are looking for academic success, performing arts, community service or athletic prowess, we are proud to say that the students and faculty of RHS will provide you with all of the above.
Our school offers our students the academic opportunity to participate in Dual Enrollment courses with Rappahannock Community College, Governor’s School with the Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School, Virtual Virginia classes, our Eighth and Ninth Graders have The Academy located within RHS, JROTC courses, additional Career and Technical Education courses are available as a member of the Northern Neck Technical Center and a faculty and staff that will meet our students’ needs and strive for continued success.
