Brief Description of the Club/Organization: The Deft Poetry Club is a fine and performing arts club that promotes a love for writing and performing various artistic genres such as poetry, spoken word, rap, songs, short stories, and various dramatic works, as well as instrumental performances.  Deft Poetry Club members participate in local programs such as the Northern Neck Senior Care Community Open Mic Night, the annual Rappahannock High School holiday concert, and the annual RHS spring concert.  Club members also work on creating and/or participating in other performance based programs and events throughout the school year.

 

How Can Students Become Members?: Students can become members by talking to Mr. Arthur or Mr. Winfield and expressing their interest.  We hold meetings every Tuesday after school starting at 3:30- 4:30.
